We are on the lookout for an Executive - Legal to handle conveyancing and notarial work, including title searches, drafting and attesting legal documents such as sale and purchase agreements, deeds of assignment, leases, and related documentation for ongoing and completed projects. The role also involves liaising with mall and golf course operations to address legal queries from tenants and residents while managing the notarization and execution of various property-related documents. We are looking out an Attorney at Law who is a registered Notary Public with a license to practice in the Jurisdictional Zone of Colombo.
Job Profile:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
•Handling conveyancing and notarial work, including carrying out title searches, drafting, executing and attesting of title deeds, condominium related documents such as sale and purchase agreements, deeds of assignment, addendums for completed and ongoing projects.
•Liaising with Mall Operations of JKP to attend to queries of a legal a nature raised by mall tenants.
•Notarizing and attesting leases for shop spaces and other notarial documents.
•Liaising with Golf Course Operations of JKP to attend to queries of a legal a nature raised by residents of the golf resort.
•Notarizing and attesting leases for land plots and other notarial documents.
Personal Profile:
•Being an Attorney at Law.
•Being a Notary Public with a license to practice in the Jurisdictional Zone of Colombo.
•A degree in Law or other professional qualification would be considered as an added advantage.
•Adequate knowledge and working experience in the above-mentioned areas and a minimum of one (01) year experience, particularly in conveyancing and notarial work.
•Possessing the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and taking on challenges with a positive attitude.
